There is something so beautiful and sacred about the decision of two people to commit themselves to each other for the journey of life, and I believe it is worth celebrating whole-heartedly. My name is Heidi Seal, I am a born and bred local to Tauranga and a registered marriage celebrant with pastoral credentials. I LOVE being a part of people’s wedding ceremonies. To me it is the ultimate honour, to officiate one of the most significant commitments that can be made and celebrate with people on one of the happiest days of their lives. I have officiated over 150 weddings over the past 6 years, and it is still a great joy to be a part of each and every one.

Your wedding ceremony gives you opportunity to declare before the witness of family and friends your love and commitment to each other. It is very important that your wedding ceremony reflects who you are as individuals and a couple. I can help you discover this, and we can work together to ensure this is reflected in the content of the wedding ceremony – in the music, readings, location, any symbolic ceremonies within the ceremony, vows, messages and flow.

I can tailor the tone of your ceremony to be whatever you please, but my most natural inclination leans towards a relaxed but special feel – recognising that most kiwi couples want a relaxed rather than strictly formal ceremony – a ceremony that acknowledges and makes room for sacred moments and special significance, while being relaxed enough to enjoy a laugh or smile at some points too. You can be assured that I will remain calm and relaxed – despite what nerves you may experience, what unexpected emotions may arise or whatever else may surprise you on the day – I will walk you through the ceremony and calmly and create a platform for you to enjoy yourself!!!

I have a free information pack I can send out to you and am always happy to have a non-obligatory chat – whether that be in person, over the phone, or if you’re overseas – via Skype. It’s important you feel at home with your celebrant, so feel free to ask any questions you might have!
